Yui is the so-called "best friend" of Miaka. She blames Miaka for all the sufferings she had to go through. Nakago is the one who she trusts. So, she became the Seiryuu No Miko. In the end, she realizes her mistakes and helps Miaka and the Suzaku Seishi in defeating Nakago.
