why i love him?
 10. All of his soldiers respect him and all of them are willing to give their lives just to protect him. Heck, they're even more loyal to him than to their empeoror. There are also people fighting over him (his girlfriend and the talented Illusionist, Tomo, who likes him). A lot of people like him. He has a very high charisma.
9. He is a real leader. He can motivate people to do what he likes. Yui, for example, he motivated her in becoming the Maiden of Seiryuu. He motivated Suboshi into killing Tamahome's family. He motivated Amiboshi and Suboshi in joining the Seiryuu seven star warriors. Only Nakago could get away with that.
8. Without him, Fushigi Yuugi would be boring. Nobody would make the people of Konan's lives miserable. Everything would be perfect and the fifty or so episodes will be lessened to more or less, 26 episodes. Let's face it, he's one of the characters that make Fushigi Yuugi look good.
 7. He saved Yui from those awful-awful rapists and he took care of Yui while she was on the verge of giving up on life. Nobody seems to appreciate what he did for Yui. He is a real hero.
6. Not that I know how he is, but Nakago is great in bed. Go and ask Soi. She will confirm it to you.
5. He makes the best out of every situation and suckers people to doing his every desire. Tamahome, for instance, is so used - he needs to recharge (Episodes 19-22). It reminds me of the Nine Inch Nails song: Teeth in the necks of everyone you know / You can keep on sucking 'til the blood won't flow / When it starts to hurt, it only helps it grow / Taking all you need / No, you don't!
4. Nakago is sadistic. For some of you, it might not be a good quality - but for a sadomasochist like me, I like it just fine.
3. He is a good friend and he can be a shoulder to cry on (how sweet). Yui always confides in him and she seems to be comforted. He's really a great guy once you get to know him ;).
2. His powers are so great. He killed precious Hotohori (don't get me wrong, I like Hotohori. I just said this to illustrate my point). See, Miaka had to wish to remove his powers by sealing Seiryuu in Chiriko's scroll before they could beat him.
 
1. Look at him! The voice, the hair, the lips, the nose, the eyes - need I say more? He is drop-dead gorgeous. Who wouldn't like him? Call me vain but that's enough reason for me.
